Recently, my wife and I spent a lovely day in two New Forest locations, Denny Wood and Blashford Lakes near Ringwood.
I have mentioned Denny wood before having visited there to take pictures of the very tame birds. Today was no exception and I wanted to share this special place with my wife. It did not disappoint and we were treated to lots of busy visitors keen to share in the seeds that we had taken along for them.
After that we went to Blashford Lakes to take a quick look there. Blashford Lakes is a few miles north of Ringwood and is a nature reserve built on the site of a gravel extraction site. It has a selection of hides looking out over woodland or lakeside scenes.
