I am often asked about software to be used in creating HDR images on PCs. I recently tried out a few and though this is not the place for me to foist my personal opinion of which is the best in my opinion I can say that the few I tried out were;
Photomatix – Probably the most well known application can be found at http://www.hdrsoft.com/. A Demo version can be downloaded to try out.
FDR Tools – Can be found at http://fdrtools.com/front_e.php. A free version is available but the more fully functioned version is shareware.
DPHDR is available at http://www.mediachance.com/hdri/version4.htm
And the last one i have tried is Oloneo which can be obtained here; http://www.oloneo.com/
